Raised on a small farm in Michigan Joel raised sheep and hogs. After graduating from high school he went on to continue his education at Olivet College in Michigan. His educational focus was biology and business administration. Joel graduated from Olivet College May 2008, with a degree in biology. After graduating Joel joined the ReproQuest team where he contributes to the Sales and Service Department as well as being Director of Manufacturing

The swine industry appears to be heading in the right direction in terms of semen extender. Ever since the introduction of PreservTM Xtra in 2006, there have been several other BSA free/antioxidant-supplemented extenders rush onto the market.
