Brent Gary

Brent was raised on a diversified family farm in Western Ohio where grain, swine and cattle were the main focus. The farming operation included purebred Chester White and Duroc hogs, which peeked an early interest in swine genetics and reproduction. Brent attended The Ohio State University with a background in Animal Science and was a member of Delta Theta Sigma fraternity.

Brent's interest in swine genetics has kept him involved in swine reproduction throughout his career. The first seven years was spent with Huizenga Pork in Zeeland, MI as Manager of the gilt multiplication and boar stud. In 1997 an opportunity as a SowService Manager became available with Land-O-Lakes and it was off to Iowa where he managed 9,000 sows (Farrow to Feeder). While in Iowa, Brent had the opportunity to meet and later work with the team at Seghers USA (now known as Newsham Choice Genetics) as Manager for commercial gilt multiplication. In 2003, an opportunity developed which allowed Brent to move his family back to Indiana in a role as Sales Manager for a swine AI product company.

Brent joined ReproQuest in the fall of 2005 as a partner and V.P. of Marketing & Sales. Brent with his wife Joy and their daughters Kelsey and Kasey live in West Lafayette, IN.
